Can I book for the LRM Show direct with Billing Aquadrome?
No, you can only book for the show through our website (click on the <Booking> link above) or by completing the form that appears in each edition of Land Rover Monthly. If you book camping with Billing Aquadrome for any time between July 14 and 20, 2008 you will have to make an additional payment to enter the show area.

When will I get my tickets?

As soon as we receive your order we will send you a confirmation letter detailing your booking. Your tickets will be sent to you later but don't worry, it will be in plenty of time for the show, and certainly no later than June 30.

When do I get my wristband?
You will be given a wristband on arrival at the Show. The tickets we send you in the post will be exchanged at reception for wristbands and vehicle entry stickers.

What time can I arrive for camping?
Campers should aim to arrive Monday July 14 - Thursday July 17.
Camping pitches should be set up by Thursday. (Campers will be allowed to arrive and set up on Friday or Saturday, but camping assistance from the organisers will be operated on a limited basis only, therefore late arrivals should be prepared for some delay.) Camping reception will open at 8am to 7pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8am to 10pm on Thursday. Please do not arrive outside these hours as you will not be able to set up camp until your entry has been processed by show officials. Campers arriving outside these hours will be required to wait in a 'holding' area until reception opens.

What time can day visitors arrive?
The show is open from 9am to 5pm. Day visitor ticket booths will be open during these hours. Day visitors are welcome to stay for the evening entertainment but must vacate the site by midnight. Day visitors will receive a colour-coded wristband for one day of entry only - different colour wristbands will be used on different days.

The people in my party won't all be arriving at the same time, what should we do?
You will receive a ticket for each adult and child (aged 5-13 years) so it doesn't matter when each individual arrives so long as they have their ticket with them.

Where will my camping pitch be?
You will be free to chose which ever marked out camping pitch you wish, on a first-come, first served basis. We cannot reserve specific pitches and you will not be allocated any particular pitch or area - you can continue to camp in your favourite Billing spot. Everything you bring with you - vehicle, tent or caravan, awning, gazebo... must fit within the confines of your 10m x 7m pitch.

What if my caravan is too big to fit into a 10m x 7m pitch?
Your options are either to bring a smaller caravan or to purchase two pitches. You will not be permitted to allow any part of the caravan, vehicle or anything else to extend beyond the 10m x 7m perimeter of your pitch.

Which way must my caravan towing A-bar face?
This is very important. Your A-bar must face outwards to permit your caravan to be quickly pulled away in the event of fire. This is a health and safety requirement and no exceptions will be made.

I have booked an electric hook up, but my friends have not. Can we have pitches alongside each other?
No. The electrical hook up pitches are grouped together and, generally speaking, pitches without hook ups will not be adjacent.

I want to book an electrical hook up pitch for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, but I don't want electricity for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Can I camp on an electric hook up pitch, but not plug in for the first part of the week?
No. If you plan to come to the show early and want camping on any of the days preceeding the show then you will have to remain on the pitch throughout your stay. So if you want an electrical hook up pitch you'll have to pay for it for the whole of your time at the Aquadrome.

Can I bring an additional vehicle?
Your camping pitch permits one vehicle plus one tent or caravan. We are discouraging campers from bringing an additional vehicle but, if you must, the cost will be £30 and the vehicle must fit into your 10m x 7m camping pitch. If it doesn't fit then you will be required to move it to a public parking area where it will be left at your own risk. To bring an additional vehicle, you will need to use the booking form in the magazine and include an additional £30 with a covering letter.

Are there any disabled facilities?
Billing Aquadrome is a major camp ground and has the usual disabled facilities 'built-in'. We expect to reserve a number of camping pitches with the easiest access for disabled campers, so please ask our marshals when you arrive. For day visitors, there will be disabled parking reserved as near to the show area as possible, but we cannot allow any vehicles into the show area during opening hours (9am - 5pm).
